ON TOP OF THE WORLD
Nepal is a country of contrasts, stretching 800 km along the roof of the world, from the highest mountain peaks of Mount Everest and the Himalayas down to the rolling lowlands of the Terai.
Nepal has it all: majestic snow-capped mountains, tropical jungles, and a rich history and culture. The Nepalese people are always pleased to welcome visitors into their country of which they are understandably so proud, and once you have visited we are sure you will want to return to see more. Nepal is a landlocked Himalayan nation that shares its borders with Tibet to the north and northwest, and India to the west, south and east. The greater part of the country lies on the southern hills of the Himalayas, extending down from the highest peaks through hill country to the upper edge of the Ganges Plain.
